Irvine, CA – October 19, 2026 – Navien, Inc., the number one selling manufacturer of condensing wall-hung boilers in USA and Canada, announces the launch of the NCB700, its fourth-generation high-capacity condensing combi-boiler. Building on the success of Navien’s NCB series, the NCB700 combines 96% AFUE efficiency, powerful domestic hot water (DHW) performance, and a more compact design with advanced features engineered to simplify installation, setup, and service.
Available in five models, the NCB700 delivers space-heating inputs of up to 150,000 BTU/h and DHW inputs of up to 210,000 BTU/h, providing reliable heating and hot water performance in a single wall-hung unit. With DHW flow rates of up to 5.4 gallons per minute at a 70°F temperature rise, the NCB700 is designed to meet the comfort demands of a wide range of residential applications. For applications requiring additional DHW capacity, the system can be cascaded with up to 15 Navien NPE-2 tankless water heaters. NCB700 also features Navien ON technology, which learns the system’s DHW usage patterns to optimize recirculation and preheat scheduling. This intelligent functionality improves energy efficiency, minimizes wastewater, and makes hot water available when needed.
The NCB700 has elevated the dual stainless steel heat exchangers from the previous NCB-H with an enhanced tube design to improve heat transfer, along with an upgraded fan and motor designed for quieter operation and improved performance with longer vent lengths. The redesigned unit is two inches shorter than its predecessor, offering greater installation flexibility, while a lower-profile DHW module provides contractors with easier access to components for service and maintenance.
Designed with contractors in mind, the NCB700 incorporates features intended to streamline installation and ongoing service, including:
- Integrated zone control: Built-in zone control board connects to and manages up to four zone pumps or three zone valves.
- Smart connectivity: Built-in Wi-Fi enables remote monitoring, control, and over-the-air updates when paired with the NaviLink app.
- Simplified setup: A backlit controller with a plain-text display, click wheel, and intuitive setup and service wizards helps guide contractors through configuration and maintenance.
- Improved accessibility: An external air intake filter can be inspected and cleaned without opening the cabinet, while the redesigned DHW module provides easier service access.
- Installation flexibility: A standard RAL adapter assembly included with the unit and optional primary manifold kit help simplify installation and connections.
Combining high-efficiency condensing technology, strong heating and DHW performance, and integrated Wi-Fi features, the NCB700 continues Navien’s legacy of innovative combi-boiler solutions.
