Each filter purifies up to 500 gallons (1800 liters) of water. How long it lasts depends on how much water you use, but on average a cartridge lasts around 6 months.
The WUA500 carbon block filter removes organic compounds like pesticides, herbicides, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), all of which can affect the taste and odor of well water.
The WUA500 system is ideal for residential kitchens, office break rooms, coffee and tea prep stations, spas and salons, daycare centers, fitness studios, or anywhere you want continuous access to great-tasting drinking water.
The system alerts you with both a red and blue LED light and an audible tone when the battery is low. The alert will sound from under the sink, and the indicator light on the faucet will blink red and blue.
If the filter life has expired and hasn’t been replaced, the faucet will emit a red light and a sound notification. Water flow may also decrease. While the system will not shut off when a new filter is needed, it’s important to replace the cartridge promptly to maintain filtration effectiveness.
No. The system must be installed on a cold water line only. Connecting to hot water may damage the filter and compromise performance.
The WUA500 includes everything needed for most standard under-sink setups, but we recommend hiring an authorized installer to protect your warranty coverage.
